My Urban Sketches

저는 2018년에 스페인의 산티아고 순례길을 완주했습니다. 저는 정식으로 그림을 배운 것은 아니지만 이 순례길을 걸으면서 매일 제가 본 스페인의 풍경과 사람들을 펜으로 스케치했습니다
In 2018, I successfully completed the Camino de Santiago pilgrimage in Spain. Although I have never formally studied drawing, I used a pen to sketch(= pen-sketch) the landscapes and people of Spain that I saw every day while walking this route.

귀국하고 나서도 이러한 어반스케치를 하나의 취미 생활로 이어 갔습니다. 같은 지역에 사는 사람들과 정기적으로 모여서 야외나 카페에서 함께 그림을 그리기도 합니다. 때로는 혼자서 그리기도 하지요
Even after returning home, I continued these urban sketches as a hobby. I regularly meet with people who live in the area to draw together outdoors or in cafes. Sometimes, I draw all on my own as well.

이 모임의 정말 좋으 점은 서로의 작품에 대해 비평은 일절 하지 않고 격려만 한다는 것입니다. 이렇게 서로 격려하는 분위기 덕분에 그림 초보자들도 현직 화가나 한때 미술을 전공했던 분들과 스스럼없이 어울릴 수 있어서 좋습니다
What I love about this group is that there is not a word of criticism about each other's work. There is only encouragement. Because of this supportive atmosphere, even first-timers can comfortably mingle with professional artists and people who once majored in art.
